Company Updates and Highlights:

We are incredibly proud to announce that Tin Wis Resort’s AGM, Maria Clark received the accolade of Business Leader of the Year. This award is given to those who have exemplified their commitment to the business community of Tofino. Maria’s leadership, compassion towards staff, and commitment to indigenous values are a few of many reasons why she has won this award. Please join us in congratulating Maria on her well-deserved achievement!  Additionally, we would like to congratulate Tsawaak Rv Resort for making the final nomination short list for New Business of the Year.

TDC’s CEO Nik, made it out to the Micro-Hydro facilities to see and learn how they run. Plant operators Trent, Timmy, and Brendan gave safe and informative tours showcasing the key components of how the plants function and what they do on a daily basis to keep things running. It was a great opportunity to connect with the team and hear about their day-to-day activities, we look forward to more visits in the future.

Tin Wis Resort’s team is working on a few projects before the busy season kicks off. Below, we can see the new EV chargers being installed towards the back of the parking lot. Additionally, there is a new smaller structure which has a foundation being built just beyond the frame of the photo, we look forward to sharing more about this project and what is in store for the property in the near future!
